(Matthew 27 & 28)

Jesus was arrested for his preaching and teaching as some people were frightened by his actions of healing and performing miracles. He was tried and condemned to death, and was crucified on Calvary. Many of his followers and friends witnessed these events and were very upset. People who were against him mocked him.

After his death, Jesus’s body was hastily buried in a tomb, but two days later the tomb was found empty because Jesus had risen from the dead.
